IS THERE A PART-TIME TRAINING ROTATION AVAILABLE?

Depending on your proximity to a training center and your existing skillset, you may be able to request a part-time rotation or a rotation that is split into several sessions.

CAN APPLICANTS FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES APPLY?

At this time, training is limited to clinicians who hold an unrestricted medical, nursing, or physician assistant license from a US state or territory.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR TRAVEL AND LODGING REIMBURSEMENTS?

Applicants who intend to provide abortions in underserved communities within the United States may be eligible for travel and lodging reimbursement for their training rotation. Travel and lodging reimbursements are subject to set caps which are determined based on training center location. Reimbursement will not include clinician compensation during the training period.Underserved communities are defined as a community where there is a discernible need for clinicians who can provide abortion care. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Communities with no other nearby abortion provider
    Communities where there is only one abortion provider
    Communities that have long waiting periods for abortion cares

WHEN DO I FIND OUT IF I WILL RECEIVE THE TRAVEL AND LODGING REIMBURSEMENT?

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance after they submit a completed application and complete the interview process.
